Website Privacy
This page explains privacy practices for the Common Ground Therapy marketing website. It is not a Notice of Privacy Practices for counseling services.
Information you choose to provide
You may choose to provide information when requesting an appointment or using a third-party service linked from this website. Please do not send diagnoses, medication information, trauma history, insurance identifiers, or other sensitive clinical details through ordinary website communication.
Website analytics and technical information
The website and its hosting or network providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, and the date and time of a request.
Common Ground Therapy also uses limited website analytics to understand general site use. The analytics script may record the page path being viewed, a general device category, the hostname of an external referring website, and interactions such as appointment, client portal, phone, email, or outbound-link clicks.
The website analytics script is designed not to send URL query strings, form contents, clinical information, or a persistent visitor identifier. It uses a random temporary session identifier stored only in the browser’s session storage so general visits can be measured. The identifier rotates after inactivity or a limited period and is not designed to recognize a returning person across separate browser sessions. The analytics script does not use cookies or local storage.
How information may be used
Website information may be used to operate and secure the site, understand general website use, improve performance and navigation, and understand which pages or links are useful to visitors.
Information voluntarily provided through an appropriate contact or appointment system may be used to respond to a request, provide requested information, support practice administration, or direct someone to the appropriate secure system. Common Ground Therapy does not use ordinary website communication to collect a clinical history.
Third-party services and links
This website may link to external services, including a practice-management system used for appointment requests or a client portal. Those services have their own privacy and security practices. Common Ground Therapy is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of unrelated external websites.
Website security
Reasonable care is used in operating this website, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive or urgent information through ordinary website channels.
Changes to this page
This privacy page may be revised when website features, service providers, or practices change. The version published here is the current version.
Privacy questions
Questions about this website privacy page may be directed to Align Therapy through the practice contact methods it publishes. Please do not include clinical or other sensitive personal information in an ordinary message.
